Well, since we had the whole party thing yesterday before her birthday, today we just went to dinner as a family and came home and opened a couple more presents. Sayla got a pretty princess dress, a new purse and jammies. She also got a new scooter from Grandma and Grandpa.

Sayla is 2!!!!

My little girl is growing up so fast. She is now a princess, who loves to dress up, play with her new kitchen (that her Grandma Raymond got her) and play with her babies.

Jeremy looked pretty good in the hat that Great Grandma Bullough gave to Sayla for her birthday.

The Not So New Home

Well as many of you know we moved into our new home last March. Since it is far away from most of you and a lot of you have not seen it I thought I would post a couple pictures to let you what it looks like. We did a lot of work this last summer and we have a lot of the landscaping done in the front and side yard. It is a half acre so we still have a lot of work to do this next summer.

Taiben' 5th Birthday Party

For Taiben's 5Th Birthday we decided we would let him have his first friend party. It was a lot of fun. We had a Wall-e party. The kids even made robots out of junk!

Kaison and Taiben got new snowshoes from Santa and they went out with Dad to try them out. They had tons of fun. We are so lucky to be so close to the Mountains.

Well Here We Go!!

So here is a little bit about us. We are The Achter's. There are five humans ( Jeremy, Jackie, Kaison, Taiben, and Sayla) and two animals (Zoie, the dog and Sami, the cat). We live in our beautiful new home in Plain City, Utah. Jeremy is a Structural Engineer for ARW Engineers and I think he loves his job. He keeps very busy at it and I know he is very good at it. Just this last year he passed two very difficult tests in order to gain his SE License. We are very proud of him.

Jackie (me) is a stay at home mom with always extra kids running around. She watches kids in her home to keep her and the kids busy. She loves being able to stay home with her children and provide a service for others who need her.

Kaison is in second grade and is 7 years old. He is a trooper and loves to try new things. He is just finishing up his first wrestling season and has strating playing basketball for his second year. He is a super sweet boy who loves to be around people and loves to make new friends. He is also very good at any video game you put in front of him.

Taiben just turned 5 and is getting ready for kindergarten in the fall at his preschool. He is a super bright boy who loves to learn. He is taking tumbling right now and is doing very well at it. Taiben loves to play any sports, last fall he palyed his first season of soccer and loved it. He is our little surfer boy with his long hair. (Even though we jsut cut it all off, but we are growing it out again. We need a new start.)

Sayla, wow, what do we say about Sayla. She is the toughest princess any one will ever encounter. Sayla is very active and loves to play babies with her friends. She is a monkey child and all we know is if Sayla is awake and the house is quiet, you better find her. She might be on the kitchen counter drinking someones drink or sitting in the bathroom sink washing her feet. She is a super sweet girl who cares alot about others feelings.

Zoie is our Lab mix who just turned 10. She is a super friendly dog who can never get enough fetch in. Sami is our lazy orange cat who like to follow kids around the house and cuddle at night.
