Family Pictures

Recently for Mothers Day we went and had family pictures done up in Memory Grove. It was a good time to be with Jeremy's family. These are only a couple of the 150 pictues we all got on a CD. I think they turned out okay, especially for having so many people there.

This is What Happens When Mommy is Not Around

So I know Dad takes wonderful care of the children and I know Sayla loves to be without clothes on, but at a soccer game. ( Love Ya Jer) Kaison had gotten a hold of the camera and was snapping shots of everything. At this one game I think there was about one hundred pictures taken. I had a good time going through them and deleting the pictures that were fuzzy, of other people and pictures of the grass. Thank goodness for digital cameras. At least he caught everything that was going on when Mom wasn't around. ( Thanks Jer for taking the kids to the game while I was running:))

Ogden Kids K

The Ogden Kids K was fun for Kaison and Taiben. The both did very well in the mile run, they finished in about 10 minutes. I am so proud that my boys like to participate in activities like this. I feel that Jeremy and I are setting a good example for our children by showing them that being active and physically fit is the healthy and right way to live. I hope they continue to enjoy activities like this and make it a lifelong goal to stay healthy and fit.

Kaison and his Soccer Team

Kaison has done very well this spring at soccer. He really enjoys the sport. We all love watching him. He scored a goal in this game. The unfortunate thing about it was that I was not there and felt really bad. I was at my race that day, but Dad was there to cheer him on. Way to go Kaison!!

Sunday Evening Hike

So somtimes I wonder why we don't do this more often. I know we do it more than most but when we do it I always think we need to do this a couple times a week. Hiking with the family is so much fun and the boys are getting to be such good hikers. They kept wanting to go and go. I just have to think about what better way can you spend time with your family other than in God's creation.

Our Beautiful Children!!

So recently we went and had family pictures done with Jeremy's family and while we were waiting I was of course snapping shots. I love to take pictures of my children and dream some day I can have a nice camera to catch the perfect shots with a fast camera. I still have fun with my point and shoot and the pictures turn out well, but maybe that is because I have beautiful children ( I know, I know I am a little bias).

Stingers #4

Taiben is almost done with his first year of soccer and has done very well. He is such a natural at moving the ball around and loves to score goals. He is going to be one heck of a soccer player someday, keep it up Taiben!!

The Ogden Marathon

So a while back I posted that I was going to run the Ogden marathon. The training went great until the beginning of April when I fractured/sprained my left ankle. I don't know exactly what happened but all I knew is that I could not run because I could barely walk. The next couple weeks after the injury I struggled trying to keep my hopes up for the race, but then I knew after four weeks of no running the marathon was probably not going to happen this year. So just a couple days before the marathon I got into the half-marathon and I ran it on this last Saturday. it went great, especially for being injured six weeks ago and only able to get one eight mile run in prior to the race. I am excited with my time of 2hours exactly and 11 seconds. This is the first actual half marathon that I had timed so now I have a time to beat for next time. Which will be in July at the Bryce Canyon Half Marathon.

Taiben's First T-Ball Game (this year)

Hey batter, batter!!!!

Last Wednesday Taiben had his first T-ball game for this season. He did great! T- Ball is so fun to watch, I think it is more fun than major league. Some of the kids have no clue what is going on and run all over the field before they make it to first base, it is so funny. They also all go for the ball all at once and end up in a dog pile. Well anyways it was fun and i look forward to going and seeing the rest of his games.

First Harley Ride

Sayla got her first Harley ride on Saturday. She was very excited and loved every moment of it. I think the kids love the bike as much as their Dad.

Showing a little attitude!

Taiben got a turn as well on the bike. He was funny because he wanted to wear gloves like Dad and wore gardening gloves. I did not get a turn and am jealous that I did not get to go. Hopefully I get a turn soon!
